Hi Daymon
Thx for your input .. Yes there are many more great CD's but we had to restrict it to 10..which makes it not easy. Marbecks have the best audiophile CD's

Interesting list Tiens, thanks for the input. I would add Eric Clapton's "unplugged" for its guitar artistry which overshadows Clapton's vocals. Just wondering where you soource your CD's. Is it JB hifi? The warehouse offers the best price but is woefully inadequate when in comes to sourcing audiophile recordings. Cheers Daymon

Nice! Been meaning to checkout Kimbra's album, the track she did with Gotye would be my pop track of the year, even if it sounds just like Sting! Have a great Christmas Lloyd, cheers Brendan

I have the 96/24 download of \'Wilco - The Whole Love\' and I agree it\'s a good album. Waiting for a 96/24 \'King of Limbs\' to be released. I\'ll have to check out some of your other top-10. I doubt that I\'ll be going for Liam Finn though. If you\'re picking a NZ singer songwriter for 2011 I\'d go for \'Kimbra Johnson\' and her \'Vows\' album. As well as being a beautiful person she\'s also steeped in Jazz and has so much soul. What\'s not to like?

Hi PinkPanter.
Thx for your Q. The Castle Knight range are viewed by many as the poor man's ProAc speakers ...so it tells you they have that type of "family-warm " sound but at nearly half the cost. Its not as good as ProAc, hell NO ! but if you do not have the means to own a pr of ProAc's this is your best alternative. The Paradigm Studio range is our other favourites..they sound more crispy and clear at the top with their metal dome tweeters..their bass is also tighter..not as deep as the Castles. The Jamo D570's and D590's sound are sort of between the Castle's and Paradigm's sound but they have definitely the edge when it comes to style. So it really depends on what type of sound and looks you like..and then the price. You cannot beat the Castles for value of money that is for sure. We will soon post our review on them in the next blog . Regards Tiens
