This is what PureAudio looks like – Part 1

The internet is great right? Its changed the way people work, live and play. The Internet can’t do everything though, for instance we can’t demonstrate how products sound via a website. We can’t give the tactile experience of turning a volume control. And no matter how many videos and photos we upload, there’s still nothing like seeing a product in real life. However, on this last point, we are going to try to give you an idea of the amazing build quality, attention to detail, and overall design of the new products from PureAudio with some photos taken in our demo room.

If you haven’t heard of PureAudio, well it could be because they are new. New in the sense that this is a new brand, but the gentlemen behind the brand are not new to this game at all. Have a read of their bio:

PureAudio was founded by Gary Morrison and Ross Stevens.

Gary has enjoyed a 30 year career in the high-end audio industry, the largest part of that as a co-owner and head designer for Plinius Audio. Gary was responsible for the sound of Plinius from 1987 until 2005. During that time he was instrumental in the creation of a series of highly regarded and well reviewed audio amplifiers.

Ross has worked as an industrial designer for over 25 years, with a particular passion for high-end audio. He has worked with leading designers, including Philippe Starck, and high-end audio brands including B&W, Perreaux and Plinius. Ross was responsible for the industrial design of the now iconic curved range of Plinius products introduced in 2002.

It was as a result of their collaboration on the design of Plinius products that Gary and Ross developed a close professional and personal friendship. PureAudio reflects their shared passion to create simple, innovative, and refined designs that focus on the very human pastime of the enjoyment of music.

We all have heard it before: ”This is a super high-end product… some of the best available in the world “  but if any brand can honestly claim that accolade it’s Jeff Rowland,  not for a one off model, but for ALL its models over ALL these years… constantly with no exception.
 
If you met the founder, designer and builder: Jeff Rowland himself you will know why. I met him personally a few years ago at the CES show in Las Vegas. A tall, soft spoken, gentleman with always a smile on his face and when he talks about his products there  is always a sparkle in his eyes and his smile broadens, signatures of a proud owner… and so are all the owners of these amazing products. 
 
Jeff Rowland components are premium products but so is a Rolex watch, a Rolls Royce, a quality diamond ring.  They have all three things in common: ” beauty” + “uniqueness” +  “durability”.  If a product doesn’t have all three then it will be short lived.
 
Jeff Rowland is such a brand, its the most striking  audio product when you first lay your eyes on it. They are beautifully machined out of a solid aluminum block, then polished many times to a shining impeccable finish not seen on any other product… truly a beautiful piece of art.  When you look inside you will find the same amount of detail, perfection and unique circuitry not found in any product… and that resulted in a perfection of sound that even the most discerning perfectionist will gasp at. The enjoyment do not stop there it will keep your smile on your face for many years to come and will never let you down, because its built like that… to last.
 
To sum up,  Jeff Rowland products’ creative blending of art and technology combined with timeless elegance and durability will result in you enjoying your music with all the dramatic realisation of the musical promise by its artists, no other product can do that quite like a Jeff Rowland.

Well another year is over and what an exciting year it was! Stereotype has grown a lot this year, we’ve expanding our range taking on four new brands. These coupled with our existing brands new products, have kept us busy with demand for the class leading Home Theatre and Hifi.

Thanks so much for supporting the little guy, we really do hope you see the benefit in dealing with a specialist who is passionate about what they do, trying to find the best solution for your budget rather than pushing extended warranties and expensive accessories you don’t need.
